In 2010, with 40 acres of pasture, Robin Wilson and son, Brock, purchased ten commercial cows from local cattlemen. The small hobby operation grew quickly and within a year Rocking W was selling truckload lots of 50+ commercial cattle. With long-term goals in mind, research led us to transition to the registered Angus seed stock business. 

 

Today, with farm manager Kirk Childress at the helm, we maintain a complete AI and ET program with over 300 females. We follow Gardiner Angus Ranch genetics and are a proud Gardiner Allied Producer, sending nearly 100 bulls per year to G A R for their annual spring and fall bull sales. We host our own annual production sale each spring at our Jefferson farm where our females sell.
